In the past, physicians have used a large glass jar to collect fat. This jar usually does not fit into small autoclaves and it is difficult to clean and extract fat from the jar. LEI delivers a suction jar that is autoclaveable and can be used on a Medela Dominator-50 suction aspirator or mounted on the system with a rail clamp. We provide many other instruments manufactured in the United State, as seen below.
We have designed several fat collection cannulae. The device pictured below is designed to screw into our standard Liposuction handle. Our second fat collection cannula is provided with a standard luer lock fitting. This allows the physician to connect directly to the syringe.
LEI has put together a kit that can be sterilized, keeping together the instruments neccessary for fat collection. This may be provided with both methods of fat collection. The tray is easly modified to accept other instruments that the physician may utilize.
